Media pass

Twelve complimentary media seats are held for the 2026 summit. Passes are issued by approval, and every badge carries its own access rules. Apply early. Seats close once the allocation is filled.

Who qualifies

Working journalists

Staff or freelance reporters, editors, and producers on assignment for a named outlet. Freelancers should name the commissioning editor or show recent bylines on the beat.

Industry analysts

Analysts at research firms who publish public notes or reports on cryptography, cyber risk, or financial infrastructure.

Broadcast and podcast

Producers and hosts covering security, government technology, or financial infrastructure, with a published episode history.

Not eligible

Vendor marketing, content marketing teams, investor relations, sales, and recruiters. Those seats belong to the Practitioner or Sponsor tiers.

Credentialed badges

Press badge

Accredited reporters and editors covering the day.

  • All main-stage sessions and the showcase
  • Press desk and interview room by appointment
  • Lunch and the evening reception

Chatham House sessions may be reported without attribution.

Analyst badge

Research analysts publishing on quantum and cyber risk.

  • All main-stage sessions and the working session
  • Embargoed copy of the State of Quantum Readiness report
  • Lunch and the evening reception

Report citations follow the same attribution rules as press.

Crew badge

Camera operators, photographers, and sound engineers.

  • Designated capture positions in on-the-record sessions only
  • Load-in from 07:00, escorted by the press desk

No capture of any kind in Chatham House sessions.

How to get credentialed

  1. 01

    Apply on the Media tier

    Register on the Media ticket tier. It is free and requires approval. Use your outlet email address so we can verify you quickly.

  2. 02

    Verification

    The press desk checks your outlet, beat, and recent work. Recognized outlet domains clear automatically. Everything else is reviewed by hand.

  3. 03

    Approval and badge

    Approved applicants get an email with a dashboard link, badge, and check-in code. Bring photo ID that matches your badge name.

  4. 04

    On site

    Collect your printed badge at the press desk from 07:30. Crew badges are issued with the escort schedule at the same desk.

Late requests are considered only if seats remain. The allocation is twelve. Once it is filled, applications close for the year.

On-site rules

  • Badges are personal and cannot be shared or transferred.
  • Government and standards seats run under the Chatham House Rule. Report the substance, never the speaker or their organization.
  • No recording, filming, or photography in Chatham House sessions. On-the-record sessions are marked in the printed program.
  • Interview requests run through the press desk, not directly with attendees.
